Advanced Dental Technology for Enhanced Care and Precision

Our state-of-the-art technologies ensure accuracy, efficiency, and comfort. Our dental equipment is safe, effective, and well-maintained. Some of our dental technologies include those listed below:

iTero Digital Impression Scanner

When it comes to your orthodontic care, the iTero Digital Impression Scanner offers a solution that is both more efficient and reliable than traditional methods.

Part of many orthodontic treatments is the process of taking impressions of your mouth. These impressions help our team better visualize the structure of your teeth and jaws to customize a treatment plan for you. Through the use of the iTero Digital Impression Scanner, our team eliminates the need for messy and uncomfortable impression materials while producing more efficient and accurate results.

Using a radiation-free laser, this compact device scans your mouth to create a digital, three-dimensional impression of your teeth and gums within minutes. Not only are these impressions much more time effective, but they also are much more accurate and allow patients to remain comfortable throughout the procedure. Combined with our years of experience, this technology allows our team to help deliver the best possible outcome for your orthodontic care.

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are an essential part of a thorough dental examination. They show our dental team areas of concern that aren’t visible to the naked eye. Digital X-rays improve the process by being faster, safer, and more comfortable. Best of all, they significantly reduce the amount of radiation you’re exposed to, so you can rest easy knowing that your long-term health is protected.

Digital X-ray images are available immediately because they don’t have to be processed. That means we can detect any dental issues quicker and develop a treatment plan right away, increasing the odds of a successful outcome.

Panoramic Imaging

In addition to digital X-rays and CBCT scans, we offer an additional diagnostic tool: digital panoramic images. Dental panoramic scans can show an image of your entire mouth in one scan to provide context for your dental issues. They are especially useful when assessing the position of wisdom teeth.

Cone Beam CT Scans

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an incredible piece of dental technology that has improved our diagnostic process. CBCT scans are similar to panoramic X-rays except they show dental issues in much more detail, in three dimensions, and provide data that is invisible to a 2-dimensional image. This allows our dental team to establish a more accurate diagnosis and to provide more accurate treatment for you.

CBCT machines take a series of 2-dimensional images from which intricate computer software creates a comprehensive 3D overview of your jaw and head. CBCT scans take under one minute to complete and cause no discomfort for your convenience.

Laser Dentistry

Lasers and dentistry may seem like an odd pair, but laser dentistry has changed the way many routine procedures are performed. There are several uses for dental lasers, including disease detection, soft tissue treatments, and hard tissue treatments.

We have three types of lasers in our practice:

  • DiagnoDent, a diagnostic diode laser used to identify tooth decay in the deep, inaccessible grooves of the teeth.
  • Ivoclar Odyssey Navigator, a therapeutic diode laser used for the treatment of gum problems, cold sores, and canker sores, and to improve gingival healing after a deep cleaning requiring periodontal scaling and root planing.
  • Waterlase MD (Er, Cr: YSGG laser), is a hard tissue laser used to treat tooth decay and prepare the teeth for fillings or crowns. It’s also used to alter gum and bone levels to facilitate crown and bridge therapy and can be used in oral surgery to improve implant dentistry outcomes.
